Kiley has a minimal grasp on time.  She cracks us up sometimes at the improper use of time in her statements. One day we were out sightseeing and had been driving around for a couple hours. Kiley shouts, "We have been driving for 5 minutes!  When are we going to go home?"  We just laughed. Another thing, it's always her birthday.  Every month.  Especially when I tell her, "Oh it's so and so's birthday.  We need to get them a card."  She will then say, "It's my birthday next!"  Ummmm no, your birthday is still a ways off sweetie.  And everything happens on Saturday. 


Since she's started becoming familiar with seasons and days of the week from her school work with Time4Learning, I thought it'd be a good idea for her to learn the calendar.  I googled school supply stores in town and found a really big one in the downtown area called Utah Idaho Supply Map World.  Apparently they have been in business for a long time, since 1891.  I went and found a really cute calendar/season/weather frog themed set.  I think it was only $14.
